The following employee attendance policy provided by our company will outline our
expectations when it comes to our employees’ attendance rate. Being punctual in an
organization and coming to work on time will help maintain efficiency in our workplace.
This company policy will apply to all nonexempt employees regardless of their type of
employment agreement or current position.
Guidelines
The following guidelines are expected to be met when it comes to the attendance of our
employees:
Woke up late
Extreme bad weather such as typhoons or floods
Delay due to traffic or public transportation
Holidays that have not been approved by the HR
An employee’s good attendance will be considered and there will be a reward of an
additional paid day off under the following conditions:
Reports to work consistently
Leaves work on time according to scheduled time provided
Remaining at work during working hours
Taking leaves only when there is a valid and good reason to do so
Being a manager you need to check up on your team members and if they are consistently
tardy then you need to confront them and ask them for the reason. Other options which
help them manage their problems such as flexible timings and work from home option can
be provided.
Violation of policy and disciplinary action
Corrective counseling does not work
You are willfully tardy regarding work matters
Your absenteeism tends to affect your work at the organization
