Job brief
We are looking for an accountant to analyze accounting data for our company and produce reports. You will be responsible for preparing accounts, budgeting, and managing financial information. You could also be advising and helping clients, whether that’s individuals or international companies, in financial situations.
We will rely on you to prepare and examine financial records, assuring information is up to date and accurate. However, you could specialize in particular areas such as forensic accounting or taxation or focus on more specific areas of a company's financial department.
Duties
- Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Examine statements to ensure accuracy
- Ensure that statements and records comply with laws and regulations
- Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, ensure prompt payment
