Duties and Responsibilities
- Installing, configuration, and troubleshooting of the network architecture
- Monitoring and diagnosing issues with performance in the network architecture
- Design and implementation of business solutions while using network equipment
- Create and update documentation for the system and curate network diagrams
- Deal with network support issues
- Present network status reports periodically
- Conduct network performance tests daily and report issues to the CTO
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of previous work experience as a Network Engineer
- Experience in managing teams
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in network operating systems like IOS, JUNOS, Cisco
- Basic knowledge of hardware networks
- Basic coding proficiency; example: Python, Java, C++
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
