You will also need to have a hands-on experience in CAD software with strong attention to detail and creative flair. Project management skills will also be expected to control daily tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities

Researching new ideas and methods
Improving the existing products and processes
Maintenance of accurate records
Writing detailed reports
Analysis of prototype data and retest if there’s a need
Finding creative design solutions to problems
Presentation of prototypes and designs to clients and project managers
Design new engineering processes and products
Crafting models and drawing products using CAD
Key requirements
The key requirements can be provided as follows:
Previous experience as a design engineer or a similar role
Ability to present the data in front of stakeholders and managers
Attention to detail
Degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field
Excellent oral or written communication skills
Good understanding of safety standards and environmental impacts of a design
Proven experience in using CAD software along with knowledge of SolidWorks will be a plus
