Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the engineering team to discuss the system requirements
- Monitor existing systems to ensure their integrity
- Direct technical support towards the IT staff
- Test software for errors, bugs, security issues, and redundancies
- Make processes standardized, optimized, and as automated as possible
- Oversee and take care of backup strategies
- Ensure secured backups and restoring policies
- Install and configure operating systems and other softwares required
- Develop reports and documentation of proposed solutions
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
- Experience in working with various operating systems
- Knowledge of various programming languages
- Experience with system performance monitoring tools, caching, HTTP traffic analysis
- Proficiency in analyzing large scale distributed systems
