Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that the company policies are in line with the local, state, and federal regulations
Train and oversee employees on health and safety regulations
Monitor personnel and workspace
Always ensure the company is prepared to submit the needed document
Encourage and advocate for safer materials, work equipment, and supplies
Monitor the exposure to certain hazardous chemicals
Report to occupational health and safety administration and other relevant organizations
Attending the seminars or workshops for updating the knowledge base
Working with politicians and/or legislators to support key local legislation
Key requirements

Experience as a health and safety engineer or a similar role
Ability to perform audits, write and submit reports
