Who is a Travel Agent?
A travel agent is an individual who works in or for a travel agency to provide tourism and travel-related services to the public. Travel agents guide people on how to plan their holidays and help them choose places to stay and visit. They offer a variety of travel packages based on different travel destinations. Some travel agents accompany a group of people during the trip and act as a guide while exploring local tourist attractions, events, and accommodations.
What does a Travel Agent do?
The main duty of a Travel Agent is to deliver a pleasurable travel experience for their clients. There are various steps involved in making this happen, such as meeting with clients to discuss their travel expectations and needs, suggesting them suitable travel options according to their budget and requirements, helping them plan and schedule the whole trip, and more. Travel Agents also provide services like tours, accommodation, insurance, transport, and fares to make the trip easier for their clients.
