A design head is one who provides a creative vision not just for the design team but for the entire organization. They establish processes and practices in order to realize their vision and then set the bar for quality. They also need to contribute to the development of brand definition and experience principles and hence ensure that those are appropriately interpreted through the work of the design team.
What does a design head do?
The design head of a company will be responsible for leading a design team together with the development team to ensure that the delivery of new designs right from the concept stage to the development of prototypes is being done properly.
