Who is a technical head?
A technical head is a person who takes charge of technical teams. While their duties are
completely dependent on the industry, they mainly ensure that there is the smooth
functioning of technical operations within the teams. They also check and evaluate the
staff progress while training and recruiting and setting goals to ensure there is
overall satisfaction when it comes to the customer’s needs. They generally work with
either software or engineering teams.
What does a technical head do?
A technical head is typically responsible to prepare answers to calls for tender by
proposing solutions to the problems. They also make sure that the projects are safe from
any risks evaluate the tasks that are assigned to the teams with respect to development
and contribute to convincing the client to work with their companies.

Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of a technical head can be provided as follows:
- Delegation of tasks and achieving the daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Determination of project requirements and development of work schedule for the team
- Analysis of existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings in order to discuss improvements.
- Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as and when required
- Being transparent with the team regarding the challenges, failures, and success
- Keeping up to date with the trends in the industry
- Writing the progress reports and delivering the presentations to relevant stakeholders.
